Damn it.

Illustrator takes so damn LONG to do stuff in. The Live trace is crap for my picture cause it rapes the lineart completely, and the only easy thing at the end is the one click flod fill after the torture to fill in the gaps.

But damn... 3 hours later- doesn't it look SEXY O.O It was meant to have crisp curves and damn... DOES IT *u*



You guys probably don't notice the difference, but for me to look at this and see the end result... It's gonna take forever, but it's gonna look awesome at the end of it!! :D

Damn, that really looks awesome :D I like how you didn't use the anti-aliasing, it looks so much more crispy ;P

Although Illustrator is definitely my favorite out of the whole CS Suite :nod: I have to admit Live-Trace is one of the worst things Adobe has made :no: Nothing but troubles out of that piece of crap.
I only rarely use it for really tiny things or last minute rush work.

Yeah vector takes some time but it always comes out looking top notch. Your pic is looking really sharp keep it up :D

illustrator gets way easier with practice, i'll show you all my vector art one day, its crazy, took me a while to get it but in the end , after a bit (alot) of practice i got it fine.

Thanks ^^ The annoying thing though is live trace doesn't let you live trace a small area only- just the whole thing. It's so annoying >: ( It's monotonous and unenjoyable too. I think I might have to wait a while before I did it again :(

Yeah- it took me ages to learn how to join 2 vectors for my comic pages T.T I know know :D That flood fill thing was good though- I didn't know how illustrator was gonna handle that. I'm happy atleast THAT was easy ^^
