I've been playing with Artrage 3 and it's finally starting to not GIVE me rage now I'm getting use to how weirdly it deals with paint. Why? Cause it's not weird. It makes friggin sense. You put blue on magenta and swirl it around. What do you get? Blue? Transparent blue? NO. You get purple. Simple math. Photoshop FAILS at mixing colours as it goes along and once I got over that, and upgraded to 3 (Cause frankly, AR2 had a poor colour picker and I missed ALOT of tools AR3 now has), things started to get easier, and I think it may be good practise for when I learn to oil paint next year ^^

In any case, my book on painting is FINALLY starting to come in handy with art rage cause it works correctly, unlike photoshop to mixing like paint. Time will tell if I grow to like it more though.

And yeah... =Flynn-the-cat will be happy cause she's been bossing me into buying Artrage for a while. You guys know it's made in WEST AUCKLAND? This program is powerful, and it's Kiwi made. Holey crap, right? O.O
