Well, it's been a while in the making due to a few reasons- mostly the whole moving house process, working on the Final Sunset, and being the only cub leader at my Cub Scout pack stressing me out of all inspiration in art. Those were depressing times T.T
Anyways- Glen's commission is done like dinner. His original specs for the picture was these two characters (he gave me a description) in the middle of a destroyed world (from war). It's sad because she is unconscious, and he fears for her life. He also wanted a pentagram in there somewhere.
Anyways, did some research on pentagrams, and I'm pretty sure he wants the pagan one for the earth elements and not the satanic one (upside down). I did kind of a hand mirror sort of flow line to itto focus on the emotions the two were doing. I didn't really feel that the desolate world was terribly important, so I left it kind of ornate with crooked tree things. I love how the wings frame the pic ^^
So yeah. All done. I'll give this to you at Armageddon Glen- k? Hope you're happy with the result. This took me aaaaaages to draw >.<
Thanks ^^ It's the love child of soooooo many hours of work >.< I wanted the result to be something I was proud of though- it's my first high paid commission ^^ It's always nice to draw OCs. I get asked to do alot of fanart at conventions >.> That can be a pain, cause I sometimes don't remember what some characters look like XD Lol
Ah- but you don't know what it *actually* looks like. It's actually not too different, but the scanner takes a heck of alot of the contrast out. When you put it back in, you've lost your high end and low end graduations, which can mean that some subtleties can be lost >.> I has that....
lol yeah I know that's a bit of a problem! some of my mates ask me to do a drawing of somebody the odd time & I can't remember what they look like until I see them again! lol

There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
