She has challenged peoples watching her to colour this and well- she'll post her version in a few days.

I'm a sucker for punishment. Two hours later, this came out 8O I guess I was more inspired than I thought!!

Alot of the dodge tool here cause it makes shinny water effects ^^ I desided to go for a cyan and blue effect cause skin colour under water? It kinda sucks.

I love the shinnyness. Come on- I gotta have some fun. I just came home from a Rover meeting of boredoooom :( Aiiieee....

Thanks :) It helps that Naysha is such an awesome lineartist ^^ Someday in the near future she's going to do a commission for me ^^ Paid her a while ago- she's got a HUGE cue though ^^; LOL! I TOTALLY wish I had her attention ^^ I'd feel spechall.... :3 *bounxces about cutely*

Actually- I'd probably NEVER get time to draw with the comments I'd get so maybe active Soozie is beter...

Thanks :) I enjoyed colouring this one. I usually work more with contrasts. It's nice to do one every now ond then that is medium toned :)

Simply beautiful. I am also a huge fan of the dodge tool. Well that and the burn tool and I try to use them in all of my pics that I color. But back to business. It just goes to show that even with a messed up thumb you can still do beautiful art. How did you do that shining luster in her hair. It almost looks metallic. You are such an inspiration to us all my dear. Beautiful coloring job. :hug:

Well, the shine is a combo of the dodge tool and a vector of a rainbow blended in for highlight in the hair. It's more noticabel in the large version.

I'm not really a fan of the dodge tool- it's unpredictable and can come up with bad colours. I've had experiance at what dodge does to blue though and it makes a beutiful water effect. Otherwise, I usually don't use that. Never use burn at all. Perfure making my own colours...

Oh- and the thumb is sore, but still usuable, thus I stll draw ;)
